Intimate ceremonies are one of my all-time favorite celebrations to capture. Rebecca and Jason’s destination San Francisco elopement was no exception! The two of them had been in a long distance relationship with Rebecca in British Colombia and Jason in San Diego. Given the vast difference between each other on the West Coast, they chose San Francisco as the perfect in-between location for their destination nuptials!
They spent the week exploring San Francisco and taking in all of the great sights and eats of the Bay Area. On the day of the wedding, we began with early morning portraits at the iconic San Francisco City Hall. After some time exploring the beautiful building, we moved into their intimate ceremony in front of a handful of their closest relatives. From there, we made our way to another picturesque location in San Francisco for a destination elopement session, Land’s End. The historic Costal Cypress groves were the perfect spot for the newlyweds to lay down a blanket, pop some bubbly, and toast to their future together.
With all of the excitement for finally being together, paired with gorgeous light and florals, it was a truly memorable day. It’s always really inspiring to see couple’s choosing to focus on the most important part of a wedding celebration; uniting as one in front of their most treasured loved ones. I’m incredibly honored I was invited to capture this remarkable milestone in their lives!
