Roza and Justin both grew up in the Bay Area and knew a lot of the same people, but somehow their paths hadn’t crossed until 2013. Roza had even met Justin’s mom and sister before through mutual friends, but never funny is that?! When they finally did meet one magical night between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, they had an instant connection..and have been inseparable ever since!

Since these two live, met, and fell in love in San Francisco, we just had to do a classic SF session for their engagement portraits! We started with stellar views of the city as a backdrop on top of Telegraph Hill, and then strolled through this charming little stairway near by that leads up to Coit Tower. We even had a little neighborhood cat friend photobomb us! It was the cutest darn thing.

From there we headed across town to catch the sunset at Land’s End. The cypress trees above Sutro Baths are so icon and quintessentially SF so it was the absolute perfect place to continue telling the story of their San Francisco romance. After some frolicking in the grass beneath the trees, we headed down to the bath ruins for the last bit of dreamy light as the sun dipped down. I had such a blast with these two cuties at their engagement AND their stunning summer wedding at Villa Montalvo, which I’m excited to share somewhere very special real soon. Stay tuned!!
